As locals for many years at the islands, we have created a combined itinerary according with our experience to leave you breath less, a marine and land adventure.

Crimson Plume it’s designed for 6 to 10 explorers, were you will have a private marine transportation to travel between the main islands as Santa Cruz, Isabela, Floreana and San Cristobal, also you will visit on a day trip North Seymour, Punta Pitt and Española. The explorations sites on Isabela are a really remote and pristine area, so you will visit South west Dog beach & Punta Moreno on a private marine transportation, definitely a majestic experience.

Day 1: Baltra Airport - Twins - Gian Tortoises Sanctuary

The Santa Cruz highlands has a dramatically change of the fauna depending of the altitude, in the highlands live also a variety of animals, especially birds on the wild.
The first stop of this trip is a wonderful volcanic formation named “The Twins” on this place live a variety of land birds as finches and also native vegetation like Scalesia, other incredible place that you will visit is the Giant Tortoises Sanctuary, it’s just fantastic see how them are walking freely around the forest. Also, on the same spot you will find a lava tunnel formation, a nature creation that make you feel marvelous.

Day 2: North Seymour

North Seymour is located at north site of Baltra island, the total distance of the trail is 2 miles. A forest of Palo Santo trees stands just above the landing site. During the walking, you will be able to see sea lions, land iguanas and the “magnificent” and “great” frigate birds. Sometimes blue-footed boobies and swallow-tailed gulls’ nest along the path.

Day 3: Half-moon Hill - Mesa Hill - Garrapatero Beach

The Santa Cruz highlands is the perfect spot to go for looking birds on the wild, half-moon and Mesa Hill are good places to find Galapagos rail, vegetarian finch, warble finch, large three finches, small three finches, meanwhile in Garrapatero beach you could see cactus finch, Galapagos Mockingbird, the large, medium and small ground finch, White cheeked pintail ducks and occasionally American flamencos, it’s a complete adventure for photographers that love this special buddies.

Day 4: Isabela Punta Moreno

A good place to appreciate marine life and the unique flight less cormorant, also on the area you must see Galapagos Penguins, Blue footed bobbies and Common nobody, a really delightful combination between ocean life and birds on the same spot.

Day 5: Floreana Island / Light house - Sea lion shelter - Highlands

The shore of Floreana shows you one of the most beautiful landscapes of the archipelago and the highlands are a perfect place to look for birds, on the walk you will try to get some shots of medium three finch, cactus finch, small ground finch, medium ground finch and paint billed crake. Also, Floreana islands its famous for his colonization history, the pirate’s caves, a cultural icon. On the coast lives a peculiar reptile the colorful iguanas known as the “Christmas iguanas”, on this gently and mysterious island live around 180 persons.

Day 6: San Cristobal Island: Junco lagoon - Giant tortoises Breeding center - Puerto Chino

A magical place, at 700 meters above the sea level there it’s a mesmerizing extinct volcano that has create a lagoon known as “El Junco”, a special place to appreciate birds such as frigate birds shower around to remove salt from their feathers, white-cheeked pintails and common gallinules. Various kilometers away there it’s the giant tortoises breeding center that maintain captive giant tortoise’s babies to repopulate once that they get ready to go back to the wild environment. Finally, Puerto chino a white sand beach hidden into a forest of endemic plants, offers you a perfect place to relax and appreciate the nature and wild life.

Day 7: San Cristobal / Punta Pitt

Punta Pitt the marvelous place that gives you the opportunity to see the three species of boobies: Red footed boobies, Nazca boobies and blues footed boobies. Also, you can see other bird species like frigates and red bill tropic bird flying and resting around, it seems like a small community that share a special place.

Day 8: San Cristobal / Española

Española island the oldest of the Galapagos archipelago is home of singular species as Hood mockingbird, Española cactus finch, Española warble finch, swallow tailed gulls and famous waves albatrosses that arrive at the mating season between April to December. The island by itself has an incredible beauty, cliffs, landscapes and harmony.

Day 9 San Cristóbal / Sea Lion Shelter

A special place where local people practice surf, its home of peculiar birds like swallow tailed gull, ruddy turnstone, Great Blue Heron and the special blue footed boobies, really early at the morning the sun it’s just perfect for shooting!
