– Thousands of kilometers away from the mainland on a small part of the planet was formed an island by lava named “Floreana”. At the actual moment lives 150 habitants who are really friendly, the island hides many stories as the Baroness, the Pirates from the Pacific and the firs child born on the Archipelago.

Reborn it’s a 3 days exploration designed for 9 to 16 travelers, it’s a new itinerary exploration that will make you forget the time and date because you truthfully connect to the roots of the world, an island that it developing the community tourism.

Day 1: Speed boat to Floreana Island – Highlands – Pirate Caves – Black Beach – Sea Lion Shelter.

Early at the morning you will take a speedboat to Floreana Island the navigation takes around two hours, once you arrive to Floreana, you will visit the highlands where is located an iconic place “El Asilo de la Paz”, Giant Tortoises live on a semi-natural area, also you will explore through the pirate’s caves and labyrinths that hides great stories of supply and colonization.

On the coast side exist two places that mesmerize your mind, the black beach an incredible landscape that has an important geological reason because of its sand tone, the second stop it’s the Sea Lion Shelter, it’s a great place to have a snorkeling experience where you can usually find some sea lions, sea turtles feeding from the bottom and tropical fish.

Day 2: Hiking form Alliery hill to Post Office Bay.

Alliery Hill its located around 15 minutes from Puerto Velasco Ibarra going up to the highlands, once you arrive to the main entrance you can appreciate the old trail that the locals used to supply food to different cruises at the Post Office Bay. The trail it’s a hike downhill for a time around two hours and a half, on the way you will appreciate how vegetation change and also how birds from the area are interacting on the wild.

Once you arrive to Post Office Bay you will find a Barrel wood, some stories said that a Captain placed the barrel in the 18th century for leave mail and deliver mail, those persons who pass by the mail could take the letters and leave it on a close destination or on the exact one. On this beautiful coast, you can find a lava tunnel that its connected underground with the ocean, at the end of the trail you will see the house ruins of the Baroness on the bay. Definitely It’s an island that hides a lot of mystery.

Day 3: Pulpos Trail – Kayak or snorkeling at the Puerto Ibarra Bay.

Another beautiful morning at Floreana, close to the Bay you will walk through a beautiful lava trail to appreciate unique landscapes across of fauna from the area, at the end you will find a small lagoon were occasionally it’s possible to see Galapagos Flamingos. The last activity but not the less marvelous it’s a relaxing snorkeling at black beach or also if you prefer you could do some kayak at the coast, that’s a great option! At the afternoon you will take a marine transportation to Santa Cruz Island, saying good bye to gentle Floreana.
